Christine A Witchger, MSN, CPNP-PC
Christine is certified as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing. Christine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University specializing as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Christine's nursing background was spent as a registered nurse in pediatric acute medicine and pediatric hematology/oncology.
Christine loves being in the primary care setting and the continuity that she is able to have with patients. She enjoys engaging with patients and families while educating on preventive care and growth and development. Christine believes the best care can be given through adhering to cultural competence as well as seeking to consider both social and emotional dimensions. She is very passionate about engaging with the Spanish speaking community. Christine is involved in her local church body and has a small group of high school girls there that she mentors. She is a Michigan native and loves spending time with family, being involved in missions, hiking, living outdoors, and drinking a good cup of coffee!
